This is a charity film for International Day Of The Girl, to highlight
various injustices that are still happening across the world to girls.
This was last years film
(Project Everyone, run by Richard Curtis) created a film that was launched
to highlight several of the Global Goals that affect women across the
world – it was a remake of the Spice Girls Wannabe video:

Seeking:
SOMALIAN GIRLS: aged 4 – 8. Our girls need to have natural, innate attitude. They need to
be cool urban dancers and performers who either love Beyonce or whose
parents love Beyonce or who have the ability to lip-sync and mimic the
feisty attitude that Beyonce can deliver with touch of deserved anger at the
treatment of their sisters around the world.
SCRIPT
She starts Standing by the Wall she seeming like your a-typical Child from a
Charity film – passive, cute, Vulnerable, But when that She moves and Sings
the lyrics of the song at us, She’s transformed into something totally
Unexpected. This little girl is angry. She’s also emboldened and empowered.
She has something to Say about all this and She’s making it very Clear. This
little girl don’t care what you think about her right now, she is is gonna
tell you about it …….

1. Miming to the Beyonce song “Freedom” showing us a feisty attitude when
miming the chorus ( please email us for an mp3)
2. Interpreting and dancing to the song, showing off their attitude &
dissatisfaction
The tape doesnt need to cover the entire song, we want to see a chorus or 2
and a good verse
Can be shot out in the garden or against a blank wall by mum or dad or
perhaps and older sibling or un attached grown up so that the girls angry
side is allowed to flourish
please shoot on their phone.
These tapes will be shown to the director.
